What are your operating hours?
We do not currently have an on-farm store, however we respond to emails Monday through Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please email or check our website for specific information on those dates.
Do you use antibiotics on your animals?
We are very careful about the health of our animals and prefer natural methods before resorting to chemicals and antibiotics. However, we will give antibiotics if it is vet recommended and needed to help an animal in suffering. All label instructions and waiting periods are followed when using antibiotics in the rare instance we have used them. To this date, only one cow has needed antibiotics for an eye infection.
Do you feed grain?
No, our animals are Grass fed AND Grass FINISHED! This is an important distinction to be made when purchasing grass fed beef, as ALL cows are fed a diet of grass and ONLY grassfed AND grass finished do not receive grain in their lives.
Why can’t I order single cuts on your website?
We only sell single cuts of beef at our local farmer’s market. We do this because we are a small farm and do not mass process many animals. Instead, we only process animals that are ready and there is a need for it. Therefore, by selling bundles and bulk beef online, we can ensure that no animals go to waste or are stuck in inventory. If you can’t get to the market, check out our bulk beef options where you don’t even have to leave your home!
